Insurance Claim - Repair
I brought in my 2018 Roadking. When the quote was made the service manager Jerry had noticed that my left saddle bag side bracket near the fender had a gap, this is the side I was hit on. He showed me how on the right side the bracket was no gap and was up against fender. He priced and quoted for this. I picked up my bike on Saturday, paid the bill and as I was leaving looked over my bike and noticed even though they replaced the left saddle bag the left bracket that was replaced still had a gap where as the right did not. I went back in brought out one of the guys from the counter, he went get Art who did the work. Art said there was no note from Jerry about the gap in his instructions. I showed him how the right side had no gap. He said he would take it back and see what he could do. Bike comes out after a long wait, he could not fix it and now the right side has a slight gap where as it did not before not sure if he tried balancing it out. He said he would have to get with Jerry to see what Jerry want to do. Today is Tuesday that was Saturday and I have not heard from anyone. He mentioned taking it down to the frame to inspect that, I said I am sure that will not go over well with the other persons insurance since yall already inspected it and facts quote and they paid me.
